Sarasota County – Florida Highway Patrol has announced that one person has died after an auto accident in Sarasota Saturday Morning
According to the report by FHP, the fatal crash began as a van driven by a 36-year-old male from Venice, Florida was traveling north on the Interstate 75 entrance ramp, from Jacaranda Boulevard. Vehicle 2 a sport utility vehicle, driven by a 41-year-old male from Baltimore, M.A. was traveling north on Interstate 75 in the center lane.
The van attempted to merge onto the center lane and entered the path of the sport utility vehicle.
At 9:25 A.M. the left front of the van collided with the right side of the sport utility vehicle.
Post-collision, the sport utility vehicle rotated, overturned multiple times and ejected the 41-year-old man from Baltimore, M.A.
The 41-year-old man from Baltimore, M.A. was pronounced deceased.
The crash remains under investigation.
